As a vintage watch, I always get that fragile feeling even though as Russian watch, it supposed to be tough. But yeah, Chronograph movement is delicate, fragile or weak ha ha. I always have some interest in Chronograph but I always found it quite a hassle to treat them like some precious thing ha ha. Probably I prefer tool watch but yeah. Chronograph is always cool ha ha. The watch industry was not only a necessity but also a showcase project in the Soviet Union and Poljot became the greatest success. Other works such as the alarm plant Poljot 2612 and many more were produced. In 1990 the production level was 5 million watches a year. Hundreds of employees made this achievement possible.
In 2004 Poljot had to go bankrupt despite a long and proud history. Many highly qualified employees lost their jobs at that time.

Never knew I can feel this way for a watch ha ha. As if all the design choices fits perfectly on my wrist. What about water resistant? Well, this is vintage watch!! This is strictly dress watch I guess. There;s a crack or break in the chronograph dial that kinda visible One part that is really concerning me is the chronograph feature.

Дизайн модели 4455M-1 бренда «Альбатрос» вдохновлен авиационным часовым блоком 55М, использовавшимся в военной авиации и изготавливающимся на Челябинском часовом заводе. Черный прибор с двумя шкалами был переосмыслен в формате часов с белым циферблатом. В темноте часы полностью преображаются: это модель Full Lume, в которой подсвечены не только отдельные элементы, но и весь циферблат полностью. Всего в серии выпущено 4 модели в стальном корпусе с выпуклым сапфировым стеклом, завинчивающейся заводной головкой луковичного типа и прозрачной винтовой крышкой. Задняя крышка открывает механизм «Восток 2415» с запасом хода 31 час. Водонепроницаемость корпуса — 100 метров. Это один из самых известных советских часовых дизайнов, который оказался удивительно востребованным и сегодня: черно-белый циферблат с крупными цифрами, увенчанными большим нулем.
Часы стали частью важного исторического эпизода: показав на свои «Ракета» Big Zero Михаил Горбачев рассказал на международном саммите в Италии смысл «перестройки». Он сказал, что как отсчет на часах начинается с «нуля», так и русский народ начал все сначала. Его слова сразу были растиражированы итальянскими журналистами. Часы в корпусе 40 х 14,05 мм оснащаются российским автоматическим механизмом «Ракета» с выразительным красным ротором производства санкт-петербургского завода. Еще один пример привлекательности эстетики технических приборов для часовщиков — однострелочник Indicator «Большой Черный» бренда Colibrica design из Углича. В этой модели предприятие во главе с Сергеем Волковым развивает базовый дизайн модели Indicator.
