How successful are the artists on stage in recreating the sound of the original band and the songs so familiar to us from the album? Well let me tell you without hesitation that Brit Floyd is absolutely spot on. They are obviously very talented musicians and must have spent countless hours mastering every note that Pink Floyd created.
The Visuals — Freakin awesome. Lasers, smoke machines, oval screen with Floyd movies, massive spotlights, and everything you would expect from a Floyd show was there and complemented the musical journey. The Experience — Of course nothing can capture the experience of seeing Pink Floyd in 1975, but if use your imagination a bit and fully submerge yourself to the visual and aural experience of Brit Floyd you will get as close as possible to the real thing considering you are living in 2012. As word of mouth and the social media machine picks up steam this band will be in even higher demand.
Very strong pink colored lights probably 20 of them beam out from the stage and that unmistakable first note from Shine On You Crazy Diamond is heard.

The excellence would continue as Darlington and Brit Floyd took listeners into the weeds with some of the musical selections. The triumvirate of Darlington, Cattell, and Scordo ably handled the lyrical works from the Floyd catalog and both Darlington and Scordo were able to masterfully play the intricate guitar work of Floyd maestro David Gilmour.

In 1994 the Division Bell Tour was the highest-grossing tour in rock music history, playing to over 5 million people in 68 cities, and it proved to be the epic finale and notable footnote to one of the most influential rock bands in history. The band also features Ian Cattell, Edo Scordo, Canadian Idol winner Eva Avila, and all the other expert musicians that have joined the ranks of Brit Floyd over the course of the last decade.

Ну а тут просто экстаз - эту композицию Brit Floyd выдали в Москве. Такого драйва давно не испытывал.
The show started with songs from The Dark Side of The Moon which set the mood to a chilling, spine-tingling beginning that kept you begging for more.
This was the very first time the song or any of the new Pink Floyd album was performed at Red Rocks.
Without sounding too overly dramatic, it snapped me back from a depressive state when I was a late teen and probably kept me from starting down my own road of self destruction. But the lesser played songs are the ones that grab me every time.
So they made their own, using their own graphic artist Bryan Kolupski to have new 3D style replications that were at least good enough, but at times a bit different which worked as well. The band finally gave an introduction at this point, just like how the band actually did this in the original shows… oddly so late into the show already. Even Roger had to drop tune this section on his recent Wall tour so this was really a treat to hear it done right and so close to the original.
There was then a 20 minute intermission to buy beer and t-shirts, which is exactly how the 1980 Wall shows were done. This time we started with film of hands pulling out the vinyl of Wish You Were Here and putting it on the turntable. There was an excellent sequence of animation that took us through a lot of album artwork in a three dimensional sense, and before that even a montage of clips of a young, happy Pink Floyd frolicking around in early home movie and video clips.
The combination of this with the Syd Barrett photos at the end made the song that much more touching. It felt like a true tribute. This one was done more like how Roger Waters has played the song live in the last decade or so, with heavy drums and backing vocals.
Excellently played, excellent visuals that were sort of The Matrix meets I Robot. Loved it. The Division Bell is literally such a dividing record amongst Pink Floyd fans.
Most either love it or hate it. Since I first took real interest in Pink Floyd in about 1993, this was their new album, and it was very exciting that such a legendary band was making new music with such a dark brooding presence and story ghosting it in the background. I hold this album in high regard.
When I saw Pink Floyd for the first and last time in 1994, I was flabbergasted by the amount of people that became impatient and had to go get beer during the new music. Things must have changed in time because on this night most of the crowd was very receptive to the album. Good save!
This was a massive highlight of the show for me.
